Reception were so excited to discover that Santa had been to our class whilst we were having lunch, he left us lots of pictures of him playing within our classroom. Children in The Hangout have been busy little elves making items to sell at our Christmas Fayre. We have snowman poop, reindeer poop and magic elf beans. We also have some yummy rice Krispie Christmas pudding and lovely key rings for sale. We can’t wait to see you all. 

In Year 1, we can’t hide the excitement for Christmas and we are looking forward to the Christmas Fayre! We have been creating beautiful baubles to sell as well as getting creative in other parts of the classroom. We have been very busy working hard to write and read words from the Tricky Words…

Year 3 have enjoyed getting ready for the Christmas Fayre tomorrow as they prepared snowmen marhsmallows and a Christmas tree decoration. They look forward to welcoming everyone at 2:30 tomorrow.

Year 6 had a great morning making their rocky road ready for tomorrow’s Christmas Fayre!

Year 4 have been enjoying some Christmas crafts today in class ready for tomorrows Christmas Fayre. They’ve loved decorating tea light holders and making Rice Krispie cakes! 
 

This week, children in The Hangout have taken part in Christmas performances including singing at the concourse and Aaron Crest care home, as well as acting on the KS1 Christmas play. We are so proud of you. 

We are coming to the end of our first term and wow, what a difference 3 months makes! I am so proud of how far our diddy Delph-Siders have come. They are so independent and just love coming up with their own games and fascinations.

To wrap up their unit on the history of Skelmersdale, Year 6 created videos to showcase their learning! They had a great afternoon of presenting, filming and editing!
