Year 2 Geography
Today, Year 2 learnt about Continents and Oceans.

Binary Code in Year 6!
Year 6 learnt all about binary code this afternoon in computing. We had a competition at the end to see who could solve the binary challenges the fastest - it’s safe to say that it got quite competitive! #enjoy #embrace
Year 3 - Forest School!
Year 3 LOVED their first Forest School session today. We started by going through some rules, looking at our equipment and had a little explore before getting stuck in with our activities next week!
Year 4 - Coding using Scratch
A great start to coding, in Year 4, as the children were introduced to Scratch. Having previously used Scratch Jr, there was a seamless transition to coding using Scratch. The children enjoyed making their chosen characters speak and pass the ball.

It’s been great to be back in The Hangout this week! We have loved talking about and looking at what everyone got for Christmas. We also did some mark making to go with our photos. Great work!
Year Five Cube Numbers
Year Five smashed their first Maths lessons of spring term - focusing on Square and Cube numbers. We got our hands on some multi-link cubes and investigated how cube numbers are formed. Great times tables knowledge came in handy, too! Good work, Year Five.
