Year 5 - Art - Using Stencils
Year 5 #enjoyed exploring stencils today, looking at cogs, gears and chains. Today we explored tone by layering outlines creating an explorative page in our sketchbooks.
The Hangout - Sensory exploration
In The Hangout we love our weekly sensory sessions. During these sessions we explore different foods with our senses. This week we explored piccalilli, mint sauce, cucumber and pickled onion monster much.
The Hangout - PE Plus April 23
Children in The Hangout love their weekly PE Plus sessions. During these sessions they develop their fundamental skills. They enjoy improving their jumping, hopping, running and balancing skills.
Year 3 - DT - Exploring Mechanisms
This week, Year 3 have been exploring different types of mechanisms. We reflected on some we learned in Year 1 and then #evolved our learning, looking at different ways to make things move.
Reception - Art - Flowers
Last week, Reception #enjoyed painting flowers with watercolours, inspired by the artist Gustav Klimt. This week, we explored scrunching and twisting tissue paper to add 3D flowers on top. We put all our pieces together and made one big piece of Art!
Year 4 master division!
Year 4 have been practising dividing by 10 and 100 this week using our new place value sliding charts! We have been learning that to divide by 10, we move one place to the lesser value and to divide by 100, we move two places to the lesser place value! Lots of super work happening this week…
Year 2 Science
In science, year 2 are investigating whether plants are sensitive to light and if a plant will grow around a maze to reach the light. They are very excited to watch their plant grow over the next couple of weeks.
Year 5 - DT - Stuffed Toys
