Year 2 #enjoyed looking at the work of Keith Haring.  We looked at the characteristics of his work - his use of line, colour and form - and created an exploration page in our sketchbooks. 
 

In science we looked at healthy and unhealthy foods, we also looked at the affects on the body and eating foods in moderation to be healthy! #Enjoy #Embrace #Evolve

Year 6 really enjoyed the sessions with both of our Faith Week visitors this week! They gained great insights into Sikhism and Hinduism.

This week, we’ve been lucky enough to have some visitors of different faiths! We’ve learnt all about Sikhism and Hinduism as part of our faith week at school! #enjoy 

This week, Year Five have been very lucky and had 2 brilliant visitors who have come to speak about their Sikh and Hindi faith. We learnt an awful lot and asked superb questions to learn about new customs, traditions and religious acts of worship.

This week has been Faith Week across school. Year 3 have enjoyed meeting visitors to learn more about Hinduism and Sikhism.

Reception #embraced their winter drawing activity, exploring thick and thin lines. We really #enjoyed creating our expressive winter trees. 
 

This week Reception found footprints in their classroom, they discovered a letter which stated that a dinosaur had lost its egg. We searched everywhere and found it outside. We wrote letters to the dinosaur so it would come back. We are looking after it well and we are still waiting for it to…

This week Pre-School have #enjoyed the story 'Stickman' by Julia Donaldson. 

They have been to Forest school to collect sticks to make their own Stickman. They have made Stickman puppets and painted Stickman. They also used stick,man as an arm for a snowman - Just like in the story.

This week our Diddy Delph Siders have been learning about colour. They have independently made their own pictures full of bright colours and can name some colours. 

What a great day! The Hangout have enjoyed listening to the story The Snowman and the Snowdog.  We enjoyed using the wooden spoon characters and the snow soft toy. Outside we had lots of fun making our very own snowman and snowdog, we worked together to do this. We also went on to explore the snow…

Year 2 #enjoyed putting the final touches to their puppets, choosing gluing, stapling or sewing as their joining technique. We have loved making our designs come to life!
