Carnivores, herbivores and omnivores!
This week in Science, we have been looking at the teeth of carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. We learnt that carnivores have sharp teeth to rip and tear meat, whereas herbivores have large, flat teeth to grind and chew plants. Omnivores have a mix of both!

Reception have been learning how to count to 20 and beyond and learning all about which numbers are needed to make numbers to 20 and beyond. They have also enjoyed the story Tiddler, learning and writing all about animals under the sea and pointing out the ocean on a map.

Reception- Jumps & rollls
Over the past 2 weeks Reception have been learning all about skipping & hopping and how to negotiate space. They have been learning all about direction and moving in different ways. They were very excited learning how to complete different types of rolls and jumps too.

Year 3 testing rocks
Year 3 are enjoying learning about rocks and today tested different rocks to see how hard they were, if they could float or sink and if they would react to acid. They enjoyed making observations and were surprised when pumice floated!!

Earth Day 2024 - The Hangout
Today we learnt about Earth Day, we talked about our planet and how we can look after it better. We made an Earth Day pledge of what we will do to improve how we looked after our planet. Some of us also did some litter picking on the playground. Great work.
