Y6 have been combining our outdoor learning from earlier in the week with our history work.

Year 1 - Forest School

Locating Egypt
Through our History theme of the Egyptians, the children used their mapping skills to identify where Egypt was on a world map. Once we found it was in Africa, we had a look at the surrounding areas to see what it was like. Plus, took advance of working out in the sunshine!

Outdoor Learning Fun
Today the children took part in another outdoor learning session on our school field. We used and developed our communication skills to work together and solve problems. We even had a go a flying kites! Lots of smiles beaming when they finally got them to fly.
Outdoor PE in the sun
