This morning, Year 4 #embraced the challenge of building dens in our PE session. Team work and resilience was key with the groups working together to build the most successful Den. 

Year 4 loved our experience with Now Press Play. We #embraced a search to Earth to collect solids, liquids and gases. 

Year 4 have totally #enjoyed the adventure playground this week, after winning attendance. Lovely to see the huge smiles and giggles along the way. 

Throughout English and Science, Year 4 have been exploring the Water Cycle. We were blown away with the facts that we found, especially the fact that we drink the same waters that the dinosaurs did! A great topic to #enjoy! 

Year 4 are loving the new way of working in PE. Lots of smiles all round! 

Year 4 #embraced the lovely sunshine in our last PE session. We #enjoyed the new orienteering topic and working through the group challenges. 

Year 4 are #enjoying learning all about decimals this week. We have been whizzing through, understanding tenths and hundredths. 

Year 4 have been working hard to learn the shapes of our new non-fiction topic. We learned what shapes we can use and looked at examples. We also used our class chrome books to complete some research that we can use on our non-fiction text. 

Year 4 #enjoyed learning about States of Matter yesterday. We make a slime that was a solid and also a liquid! The children loved our investigation and was a great way to kick start our new topic. 

Year 4 #embraced calculating perimeters this week. We have worked using different methods and also found perimeters when sections have been removed. 

Year 4 are loving having their spelling buddies back and being able to complete all of our fun spelling activities! 

This week, Year 4 found out all about the Census. We looked into what the Census was, how important it is and we realised that this was the first time that we would be counted. #embrace
