Our Year 3 pupils have been on an exciting journey back in time this week - all the way to Ancient Greece! History truly came to life as the children stepped into the shoes of Ancient Greeks, using drama, artefacts, games and hands-on experiences to #embrace what life was really like thousands of years ago.
From discovering fascinating objects and learning how they were used, to #enjoying Greek-inspired games and bringing historical characters to life through drama, every activity gave our children the chance to learn by doing. Their curiosity, enthusiasm and imagination shone through as they explored the past in a fun and memorable way.
Making meaningful connections with history, turning facts and dates into something the children can see, touch, imagine and experience was an incredible way to enrich our Year 3 History learning!
